Warrior King Ready for Portmore Music Fest
Warrior King is looking forward to his upcoming Performance at this year’s Portmore Music Fest.
The easy-going reggae star who spends most of his time performing overseas is booked to perform on the second night of the two-day music festival which is slated to take place at the UDC car park in Portmore on the 28th and 29 of December.
“I do most of my shows abroad because of my heavy international schedule, but I am always excited when I get a chance to perform for my fans at home and I’m looking forward to delivering a great performance at the Portmore Music Fest this weekend,” said the artiste.
Warrior King recently released a video for a song titled Power to Chant which was released on his debut album titled Virtuous Woman in 2002.
Although the song was never released as a single, it has become a crowd favourite in several places where he has toured over the years including the US and Europe.
The video was filmed earlier this year when the Virtuous Woman singer toured the US.
“While I was in Texas my US drummer Ras Gilbert introduced me to a director by the name of John-Marc Lucid. He told me that Power to Chant is one of his favourite songs and he would love to make a video for it. So, we made all the necessary arrangements and filmed the video in Texas,” said Warrior King.
The video was premiered last Friday on HYPE TV’s popular Up and Live.
Warrior King is also scheduled to perform at Xana Romeo’s Wake Up benefit concert which will take place on the 26th of January 2019 at Island Village in Ochi Rios.
