Rudie Classic Ready to Set the Dancehall on Fire
Dancehall artiste Rudie Classic is ready to set the dancehall scene ablaze with his single titled Feel The Vibes on the Blizzard Productions label.
The London based deejay who originally hails from of Callaloo Bed a tough inner-city community located in the Riverton area of Kingston says he’s confident that his song will be a hit.
“This song was released over a year ago, but it didn’t get much promotion. It’s a very good song it has all the right ingredients to make a hit; good lyrics, a catchy melody and the rhythm is wicked. My team is pushing it hard in the streets right now, and so far the response has been very positive,” said the artiste.
He also added, “Many people think that if you live overseas, you cannot be an authentic dancehall artiste. Some even say that UK deejays are soft in comparison to Jamaican deejays, but I’m here to let them know that I can run with the best of them. A Riverton mi come from,” said Rudie Classic.
Rudie Classic is currently on the island working on several new projects.
“I’m working on an EP with Truck Back Records, DJ Blizzard and Prime Time Music. The EP should be ready for release before the end of the year; I’m also recording some new singles,” he said.
Rudie Classic was born Earlington Bowes; he’s a past student of the Edith Dalton James High School.
Rudie Classic migrated to England in 1993 and launched his recording career in 1999 with a single titled Hey Mummy on the Xcon label.
