Rachaad Amarjii Eyes Success With Golden Pen
Reggae singer Rachaad Amarjii has high hopes for his new single titled Golden Pen which was done in tandem with veteran reggae singer Sylford Walker.
The song is a remake of Walker’s hit single, Jah Golden Pen, which was recorded and released on the Joe Gibbs label in 1975.
The new version of the song which is titled Golden Pen was produced by Sun Vibes Productions and released along with an accompanying music video on the 12th of February.
“I am getting a lot of positive feedback about this song from people all over the world. It has the potential to be a big hit. Despite what’s going on with the COVID-19 crisis I’m still pushing my song. However, because of the COVID-19 outbreak, most of the promotion is being done online,” he said.
The St. Thomas born singer is set to release a seven-track EP titled Black As I Am, this summer. The EP will feature songs such as titled track Black As I Am, Rasta Man, Grass Roots and Got To Work.
“I’m looking forward to the release of my debut EP later this summer. All the songs are mixed and mastered already,” said Rachaad Amarjii.
He is also promoting a single titled Can’t Believe which was produced by Roclarich Entertainment imprint and released in December 2019.
Rachaad Amarjii, (given name) Rachaad Amarjii Green was born and raised in Yallahs St. Thomas. He is a graduate of Kingston College High School.Rachaad Amarjii launched his recording career with the release of a song titled Bus Shot which was released by Dreddarecords Productions in 2010.
