Nastic Rastafari Ready to Shine

Fast rising Reggae Singer, Nastic Rastafari is ready to take his place in the musical spotlight.

The talented St. Thomas native who finished in the top ten of the 2005 edition of the Digicel Rising Stars competition, recently signed a management contract with New York based artiste managers Ajay Loaknauth and Marlon Wright of Tun It Up Radio.Com.

Nastic’s childhood friend and producer Fitzroy Hamilton is also a member of his new management team.

“I’ve known Jay and Marlon for a while now, Fitzroy is like family to me, they’ve all been very supportive of my career over the years, and I am very happy they are now working with me in an official capacity. I am confident that I will be able to move my career forward with their professional support,” said the artiste.

Jay Loaknauth is widely known in the New York Hip Hop and Reggae circles. Over the past decade, he has worked with several artistes including Stein and Khalilah Rose.

Marlon Wright is a former member of the US military who owns and operates the popular online radio station, Tun It Up Radio.Com and a multimedia company called Cyberleaf Entertainment.

According to Loaknauth, it will only be a matter of time before Nastic Rastafari becomes a household name.

“I’m one hundred percent sure that Nastic has the talent and drive to become a major force in Reggae music on a global scale. He’s very talented, he’s humble, and he’s dedicated. We are going to do all we can to put him out there on the international music scene,” he said.

Nastic Rastafari is currently promoting a single titled Dem Nuh Love Rasta. The song that was produced by Cyberleaf Entertainment and Ackee and Dumpling Music LLC is currently enjoying strong rotation on a number radio stations both locally and abroad.
