Kisko Amari Excited About New Project
Reggae artiste Kisko Amari believes that a good album is crucial to the development of a successful long-term career in music. The budding entertainer who hails from the parish of St. Ann is currently working on his first full-length project.
“I’m recording songs for my debut album, so far everything is going according to plan, we’re recording some excellent tracks. I haven’t set a date for the release of the album as yet; I’m not rushing it, you can’t rush creativity. I want this project to be special, so I’m prepared to spend as much time it takes to get it the way I want it,” he said.
As a precursor to the album, Kisko Amari plans to drop a five-track EP titled Lead the Way on the 1st of June.
“This project is just a little something I’ve put together to whet my fans appetites, it’s a hint of things to come as far as the album is concerned, it will feature a mixture of reggae and dancehall songs,” said the artiste.
Kisko Amari recently delivered a show-stopping performance at the Reggae for Cure concert which was held last month in West Palm Beach, Florida to raise funds to fight Sickle-cell disease.
“I’m pleased that I was given the opportunity to perform at this event, it was for a worthy cause. My performance was warmly received the audience showed me a lot of love.”
He is currently promoting a single titled Nuff Gal on the Street People Entertainment imprint. The hard-working Deejay is also planning to release two new singles next month Nine to Five and Take Control.
