Jerome Gichie eye’s breakthrough with One Day
Dancehall artiste Jerome Gichie is looking forward to a bright future in the music business.
The talented deejay who hails from the Montego Bay community of Albion in St. James, is confident that his recently released single titled One Day will earn him a place in the hearts of music lovers both locally and abroad.
The song which was produced Yahsa Tazadaqe was released on the I Wall Production label in January, since then it has enjoyed steady rotation.
“I’m getting a lot of positive feedback about this song, and I think it’s going to be my breakthrough single,” said the artiste.
Jerome Gichie recently shot a video for One day. The video was filmed in various parts of Albion and Ironshore in Montego Bay by Minto Productions.
It is currently in the final stages of production and is scheduled to be released in July.
“We wrapped up the video shoot a week ago; we got some great scenes, I can’t wait to see the final edit. I want this video to be perfect; a good video is a vital marketing tool,” he said.
The hard-working entertainer is also working on a seven track EP which is slated to be released later this year.
“I’m very excited about this project, we’ve recorded some very good tracks so far. We still have a few more to go, I want this EP to be something that music fans will love and appreciate globally,” Gichie said.
Jerome Gichie was born and raised in Albion, St. James. He’s a past student of Anchovy High School.
