Throughout the history of reggae music, several popular entertainers have played the role of producer producing songs both for themselves and other artistes.
The list of entertainers to have done so successfully includes Dennis Brown, Gregory Isaacs, Bunny Wailer and the King of Reggae music Bob Marley.
Fasting rising reggae artiste Brimstone hopes to emulate the success of these great entertainers as he prepares to launch his Bucannabis Productions label.
The first song he plans to release on the label is a hard hitting pro-Marijuana track titled One Tree, which was done by him.
One Tree will be released on iTunes and all other leading internet music platforms before the end of July.
“I’m very excited about this new role that I’m taking on. I’ve produced songs before, but this is the first time that I’m doing so in an official capacity, where I’m producing my music for my own label,” said Brimstone.
The hard working entertainer who topped the charts last year with his single titled Foreign Nuh easy is currently busy in the studios working on a number of new projects.
“Right now I’m working on some new songs for myself, and I’m also recording other artistes for my label.”
