Trelawny based music producer Dinesty King is set to make a significant impact on the local music scene this year.
The easy-going producer who once aspired to be a professional football player is basking in the success of his latest hit rhythm, the Dark Thunder rhythm which is currently blowing up the local airwaves.
The project which was released late last year by Boss Lady Muzik and Falmouth Dinesty Records features songs from artistes such as Tommy Lee, Jah Torious, Sabajhaeii and JT Klanz.
“I’m pleased with the response that the Dark Thunder rhythm is receiving. The songs on this project are getting a lot of support from all the top DJs locally, and it’s also getting strong support overseas as well,” said Dinesty King.
Dinesty King is currently working on new projects with several artistes including Prohgress, Destiny Sparta, Jah Torious and Antwain.
“I have a lot of new projects in the works, and before the month is out, I’m going to drop some new songs. I plan to go really hard this year with my productions, it’s time to take things to the next level with Falmouth Dinesty Records, “said the producer.
Dinesty King is confident that artistes in the parish of Trelawny will soon begin to enjoy great success in the music business.
“The music biz is changing rapidly, a lot of artistes from Mobay are making some serious inroads. I’m sure it will only be a matter of time before some of the artistes in Falmouth begin to break out as well.”
Dinesty King (Given name) Shannarey Brown, was born and raised in Falmouth. He’s a graduate of the William Knibb High School.Dinesty King launched his career in 2014 with the release of the Crime Time rhythm which featured songs from artistes such as Jah Torious and Prohgress on the Falmouth Dinesty label.
